We want these pages to show some of the great joy that travel has brought us. The longer and stranger the trip the better we like it. More compelling than the classic sights are less well known places . . . quirky kinds of places where one can feel a sense of something akin to discovery. We get the greatest kick from enjoying the natural scene. Spectacular mountains and canyons are great, of course, but gentler landscapes have their charm too. A bit of geology often finds its way onto our travel pages, because the scenery is even nicer if you know its story. Travel has wound its way through our life that old trip photos tell our personal story too. And so these pages become a trip in time for us.
